Born-  May 23rd, 1960.  Yup, I'm a Gemini.  Otherwise my sign probably would have been "No Parking."

Birthplace- Cleveland, Ohio, hence my lifelong inferiority complex.

Residence- Saginaw Township, which may one day change this area's nickname to "The Quad Cities", since it's darn near as populous as Midland.

Significant other-  Laura.  Our marriage has now lasted longer than any job I've ever held.  And the benefits are way better!!

Bad habit-  I'll get to that in a bit.

Offspring of my loins-  Marcus, smart kid, excellent baseball player, unbelievable source of pride.  Connor, smart, irresistably charming, got his mom's good looks.  Both these guys will have more dates before finishing high school than I did in a lifetime. 

Favorite Country Artist-  Call me shallow, but whoever looks hottest in the latest issue of Country Weekly.  This week, it's Sara Evans.

Favorite Movie-  My taste is a little weird, but stuff like "World According to Garp," "Clockwork Orange," and "2001: A Space Odyssey" are among the few movies I've actually seen more than once.  I think I like to leave a movie feeling puzzled, bewildered, and just a bit confused. Hey for 7 bucks a pop, they ought to guarantee all three.

Bad Habit- Yeah, yeah I'll get to it, hold yer horses!

Favorite TV Shows- "The Daily Show" with John Stewart, and the "Colbert Report" with Stephen Colbert.  I've heard it said that comedy is a license to tell the truth and these guys generally speak more truth than CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC combined.

Favorite Food- Free.  Especially if I don't have to help clean up.  After that, I'd have to say lasagna, and Skyline Chili.

First Job (other than paper boy and cutting grass)- Working in a chemical plant in Cleveland, where I learned how badly I truly despise manual labor.

Bad Habit- Relax would you, I'll get to it ferpetesake!

Book I'm Reading Right Now- Gulp!  I have five or six I've bought this year, and haven't cracked one yet.  Really gotta get around to that!
