The Saginaw City Council unanimously approved The Henry Marsh Bridge-Cement Sky Project. Annette Rummel the CEO of the Great Lakes Bay Region and Convention and Visitors Bureau and Ann Doyle the Lead Travel Tech have been working on the Henry Marsh Bridge-Cement Sky project for two years. The goal is to paint a Mural of former Saginaw Mayor Henry Marsh under the overpass of the bridge to create a better introduction of Saginaw. Rummel and Doyle believe the project will make more residents of Saginaw want to experience the downtown experience more. The project is scheduled to be done by the end of the year 2020. In 1967 Henry Marsh became the City of Saginaw’s first African-American Mayor.
