April Fool’s Joke Resolution Highlights Bay City Commission Meeting

An April Fool’s joke generated some discussion during the Bay City Commission meeting Monday.

First Ward Commissioner Jessie Dockett says the idea came to him as he shopped over the weekend. Dockett’s resolution would have substituted “Saturday Two Electric Boogaloo” between Saturday and Sunday while replacing Monday as a day of the week. Dockett added most people don’t like Monday’s anyway.

The resolution was quickly withdrawn from the agenda.
