Bay City Election Results In

Bay City voters approved a new city charter by just over 500 votes.
Mayor Kathleen Newsham retained her job by defeating Third Ward City Commissioner Andrew Niedzinski by almost 370 votes.
In the contested 6th Ward race, former Commissioner Chris Girard defeated community activist Alex DeWitt by about 80 votes.
In the Second Ward, Kristen McDonald Rivet earned about 83 % of the vote over incumbent David Terrassi who resigned earlier this year, but not in time for his name to be removed from the ballot.
