Bay City Electric Light & Power is celebrating Public Power Week with the kick off happening September 28th. The Public Power Day will be held from 10 AM to 2 PM at 900 South Water Street, featuring activities like power plant tours, an arc demonstration, and a coloring contest for kids. BCELP serves as a community-powered utility, recognized for its reliability and commitment to customer service. Since its founding in 1868, it has provided vital electricity to Bay City, now maintaining 750 miles of distribution lines. The celebration of Power Week will continue on Facebook here
