Bay County Commissioners Appoint New Library Board Trustee

By a four to three vote, the Bay County Board of  Commissioners narrowly approved Paul Travis over Megan Klein Tuesday to serve a five year term on the County Library Board.

County Executive Jim Barcia says both were excellent candidates, adding he hopes Klein will keep her name in consideration whenever the next Library Board vacancy occurs.

Travis says he wants to maintain and enhance the success of existing programs like summer reading.
