Burn Bans Issued in Saginaw County

Several social media posts from local fire departments have announced burn bans throughout Saginaw County.

Bans have been issued in Frankenmuth and Bridgeport and Spaulding townships. Other bans may be issued in the coming days or weeks as dry weather has made for dangerous burn conditions. The ban includes open burning of trash and leaves and all current burn permits are no longer valid. Some campfires will still be allowed as long as local guidelines are followed.
