Essexville Man Dies in Single Vehicle Crash

Hampton Township police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred Saturday, June 29.

A 25-year-old man and 22-year-old female passenger, both from Essexville, were near the end of Nolet Road around 10:30 p.m. when their vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a water filled ditch about 200 yards from a two track lane. The man, who was wearing a seat belt, wasn’t able to escape the vehicle while the woman managed to get out safely. Police suspect alcohol played a role in the crash.
