Essexville Public Safety Director Laid Off

A Facebook post has notified residents of Essexville their Public Safety Director has been laid off.
William Gutzwiller posted the message Tuesday, June 25, saying the city manager laid him off effective July 1, though no reason for the layoff was given. Gutzwiller, a member of law enforcement for the past 37 years and director of the Essexville department for two, thanked the city’s residents for allowing him to serve the community.
