Former president Donald Trump made a campaign stop at MBS International Airport Wednesday.

The rally was attended by thousands of Michigan residents, who turned out to listen to Trump speak on issues ranging from inflation and border security to his ongoing trial in New York. The former president also discussed matters involving Michigan’s manufacturing industry, touching on what he called “insane” electric vehicle policies under Biden, and warning of manufacturing jobs being transferred overseas should the current administration see another term.

Trump visited the west side of the state last month. President Biden is expected to be in Detroit on May 19th, following a smaller campaign stop to Saginaw in March, when he met with local government and community leaders.
