Luke Bryan Mourns the Tragic Passing of American Idol’s Willie Spence
American Idol 2021 runner-up Willie Spence died Tuesday afternoon as a result of a traffic accident on I-24 near Jasper, Tennessee when his Jeep Cherokee veered off the road and slammed into a stopped tractor-trailer. Spence had reportedly had a flat tire repaired earlier in the day but it is not yet known if that contributed to him losing control of his vehicle.
