Luke Combs opens up to Billboard in a new interview about what it’s like being country music’s newest superstar. “Sometimes it’s changing the cat litter, and other times, it’s playing for 6,000 people, and that’s totally normal,” the 29-year-old Combs reveals. “Meanwhile, five years ago, I couldn’t get somebody to listen to me at a barbecue restaurant.” The “Beer Never Broke My Heart” singer also tests his knowledge of both beer and country music by playing a game called “Beer or Song Title or Both?”

In the funny video, he correctly guesses that “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under” is a Shania Twain song but not also the name of a beer, while he incorrectly guesses that “You’re the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly” is both a song and a beer. (It’s just a song by Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty.) Ultimately, Combs has to chug four beers, one for each of his wrong answers. “This is a horrible, horrible existence we have here,” he jokes of his suds-pounding punishment.
