A man accused of shooting another man on I-675 on Sunday is charged with a felony.

Police say 23-year-old Kamari Hopkins had an ongoing feud with a 21-year-old man, who saw each other at the Denny’s restaurant on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw Township. The yonger man laft the restaurant with a woman and headed onto 675 with Hopkins following in his vehicle. Police say Hopkins fired several shots at the other man’s vehicle, wounding his lower back and possibly suffering a graze or ricochet wound. The man was able to drive himself to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. The woman was not injured.

Hopkins was arrested and is charged with assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder. He’s being held in the Saginaw County Jail.
