New Saginaw Bishop Prepares For Installation

Preparations are underway for the installation of Robert Gruss as the 7th Bishop of the Saginaw Catholic Diocese. The event will take place at Two PM July 26th in Holy Spirit Church on North River in Thomas Township.
Gruss says he’s excited about his new job and getting out into the community to meet the faithful. Gruss who’s originally from Wisconsin also worked in Iowa before being becoming Bishop in Rapid City, South Dakota eight years ago. He’s been ordained as a priest since July, 1994.
