Oscoda Woman Dies in Bay County Crash

State Police at the Tri-City Post are investigating a fatal crash. It happened about 10:30 Thursday night at Hotchkiss and Garfield Roads in Bay County’s Williams Township.
Troopers said 28-year-old Jamie McGrath of Oscoda was driving west on Hotchkiss and failed to yield the right-of-way at the intersection. That caused her van to drive into the path of a wrecker that was northbound on Garfield. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 48-year-old man from Munger driving the wrecker suffered minor injuries.
