Police Search for Suspect in Bad Axe Robbery

Police in Huron County are investigating the Wednesday, October 23 robbery of the Advance America Cash Advance.
Police say the robbery occurred around 9:10 a.m. at 862 N. VanDyke Rd. when a man wearing a dark coat, ball cap, white face covering and white hood carrying an umbrella told an employee he had a weapon, He allegedly forced them to open lock boxes and a safe. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money in a dark colored pickup truck.
