Bay City Commissioners approved the sale of unused city owned vacant property Monday to Dresco Machining and Fabrication on a unanimous vote.

City Manager Dana Muscott says the property transfer at 1301 Sherman for $ 1 is a win for both sides which will allow the company to stay in the community, expand its operations and hire more workers.

Muscott added the Commission also okayed a related vacant property transfer on North Sheridan for $1,500 that will also benefit the planned Dresco expansion.
