Regional 911 Phone Consortium Expanding

Sanilac County is joining a regional 911 phone consortium covering eight counties including Bay.
Bay County 911 Director Chris Izworski says the two counties already share similar software related to dispatch and jail services. Izworski added sharing software will result in Bay County saving around $30,000 in maintenance costs.
Izworski spoke after Bay County Commissioners approved the intergovernmental agreement during their Ways and Means Committee meeting.
