Renovations at Saginaw City Hall are set to begin Monday.

Last year, the City Council allocated $11.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding to replace the building’s aging HVAC system, replace windows, and make mechanical, electrical, and structural improvements.

Beginning Monday, April 29, the west entrance of City Hall will be closed, and the east entrance, which faces Washington Avenue, will be used to get into the building. The City says temporary handicap ramps have been installed along the south side of the building for access to the east entrance.

The closure is expected to last about 3 months. Parking will remain available in the City Hall and Public Works lots, and the Payment Drop Box in the western parking lot will remain accessible during this time.
