Saginaw Community Food Club & Kitchen finds location

A new site has been found for the Saginaw Community Food Club and Kitchen’s grocery store project. After initial plans to open on Fordney Street fell through, the organization announced it will now be located at 310 Meredith Street in Saginaw. Construction bidding will begin in October, with work expected to start next year. This initiative, backed by a $280,000  grant awarded in December of 2022, will operate as a nonprofit grocery store with a membership model. The Saginaw Food Club is dedicated to fostering a healthier and more sustainable local food system. More information can be found at saginawfoodclub.org
