Snow days are piling up for school districts across Michigan including Bay City.

Superintendent Stephen Bigelow says Bay City like other districts had six snow days to
start the year before three more days were added. He noted that currently Bay City has used 12 snow days with more likely to follow. Bigelow explained it remains to be seen how state lawmakers will respond to the predicament of Bay City and other Michigan schools.

Bay City began its school year before Labor Day and had tentatively scheduled its
last day for June 6th or 7th, but it looks like that will  be pushed back.
