Solar Farm Job Fair in Shiawassee County

A job fair will be held for a Shiawassee County solar farm Tuesday and Wednesday, October 29 and 30.
McCarthy Building Companies will hire 250 workers to begin construction on the $250 million Assembly Solar farm development in Hazelton and Venice Township. McCarthy will meet with applicants Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Michigan Works located at 1975 W. M-21 in Owosso, then from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at Owosso Armory located at 215 N. Water St. They will also be available on Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. – noon at Owosso Armory.
