Suspect Arrested In Midland Homicide

Midland police are investigating the murder of a 33-year-old man.

Police were called to the home by two women, 21 and 51, for a domestic assault in the 1400 block of Jay Street just before 7:00 A.M. Thursday. The women had left the home before police arrived on the scene. The victim remained inside the house with the suspect, a 28-year-old man. Police arrived to find the victim dead from gunshot wounds but did not initially find the suspect. After canvassing the neighborhood, the suspect was located and arrested without incident.

He is being held in the Midland County Jail awaiting arraignment.
