A Saginaw man was arrested Sunday after allegedly shooting another man while they were driving on I-675 Sunday morning.

According to the Carrollton Township Police Department, the 23-year-old suspect had run into a 21-year-old man at a Denny’s on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw Township around 5 a.m. Investigators say the men knew one another and had an ongoing feud.

Both men left the diner in separate vehicles around the same time, and police say the suspect followed the 21-year-old onto I-675, then began shooting toward his vehicle. The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries and drove to a local hospital. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

Police located and arrested the suspect hours later. His identity has not been released pending arraignment.
