As Northwood University celebrates its 60th anniversary, the private, Midland-based business oriented, institute welcomed its sixth president.

During his installation Thursday night,  October 24th, Doctor Kent MacDonald outlines three goals to achieve during his tenure to continue Northwood’s business-based curriculum, create  an endowment fund to offer more scholarships and increase enrollment by 30%.

Dr. MacDonald said Northwood’s reputation has 95% of its graduates finding a job within six months.

A native of Canada, the Saginaw-based OHL hockey team, the Saginaw Spirit, has a new fan.
