Thumb Authorities Want Public’s Help To Solve Home Invasions

Authorities in the Thumb are asking for the public’s help to  solve a series of daytime home invasions in mostly rural areas  of Huron, Tuscola and Sanilac Counties.

The most recent included three in the Owendale area of Huron County and another along  Hurds Corner Road in Tuscola County July 24th. At least 10 crimes in all have occurred over the past 20 months.

Residents are being asked to report suspicious persons or vehicles to 9-1-1 including  photos, videos or detailed descriptions plus any license plate  numbers. Residents are requested to keep their own doors locked  and to never leave keys in vehicles when unattended.
