Two Men Dead In Altercations In Bay City And Saginaw
One man died and three are in serious condition after a multiple shooting in Saginaw Friday night. Police were sent to the 1500 Block of N. Charles shortly after 8:00. The man killed in the shootout has been identified as 34 year old Damon Adkins of Saginaw. The other victims are all in Saginaw area hospitals, but their names have not been released. No one is in custody. Michigan State Police and Saginaw Police are continuing their investigation.
Shortly after midnight Saturday morning, Bay City Public Safety Officers responded to a report of a fight on the east side of Bay City. When officers arrived at the location on Third Street near the former St. Joseph’s Church they found one of the men who had been involved in the fight was unresponsive. The 31 year old Bay City man was pronounced dead at McLaren Bay Region. The cause of death is unknown at this time pending an autopsy. The victims name was withheld pending notification of kin. A 50 year old Bay City man who is a person of interest was questioned and released while the incident remains under investigation.
