Two Saginaw Shootings Result in One Death

Two shootings in Saginaw over the weekend has left one person injured and one person dead.
The first incident occurred Friday, August 2. 24-year-old Donovan Bell was taken to a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his chest, where he died from his injuries. It isn’t known where the shooting occurred. The shooting marks Saginaw’s seventh homicide in 2019.
The second shooting took place Saturday around 1:00 a.m in the 2100 block of Cherry St. A 59-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds. He’s being treated at a local hospital. A person of interest in that shooting is in custody.
Police are asking anyone with information about Friday’s homicide to call the Saginaw Police Department.
