Two-Year-Old Dies in Huron County Accident

Police in Huron County’s Sebewaing are describing the death of a two-year-old girl as a tragic accident.
Police say the girl was behind a vehicle in the driveway at a home on Maple St. Wednesday, October 30 around 6:30 p.m. when the girl’s mother, who believed the child was in the car, backed over her. The girl was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police urge caution when moving a vehicle from a driveway, reminding residents to always check your surroundings and parents to remember to ensure their child is safely secured inside the vehicle before leaving.
