Construction is beginning on a new United Financial Credit Union branch on West Midland in Auburn following a mid afternoon groundbreaking Tuesday.

Credit Union CEO Barbara Appold says the estimated  $1,200,000 project will include what she called Interactive Teller Machines near the road meaning faster service and more privacy for customers. Appold added the Credit Union is working with Saginaw based T-S-S-F Architects and Serenus Johnson Construction of Bay City.

She’s hoping the project will be completed by late fall  in time for the year end holidays.
