Weekend Assault Reported Near SVSU Campus

The Saginaw County Sheriff’s office is investigating a report that two women were assaulted over the weekend at an apartment complex near Saginaw Valley State University. The assault was reported early Saturday morning at Campus Village at Cardinal Square in Kochville Township.
One person has been arrested, and one of the victims was an SVSU student. Information about the nature and circumstances surrounding the assault have not been released.
