Shine Bright Saginaw Mural Project

Help turn these rusty silos into the 2nd-largest mural in the United States and the premier community art space in the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Welcome to the Shine Bright Saginaw team, where we will turn a blighted silo complex into one of America’s greatest public works of art. The Shine Bright Saginaw Mural Project is looking to address several community needs by transforming industrial blight into community beautification, creating a public arts and culture space, improving the Saginaw Riverfront, generating tourism that will support local businesses, and creating a new backdrop for some of Saginaw’s most important community assets.

The Shine Bright Saginaw Mural Project is led by project leaders Mark Flegenheimer (President & CEO, Michigan Sugar, retired) and Larry Preston (Co-Founder, President and CEO, Tri-Star Trust Bank, retired)  and made possible through the Saginaw Community Foundation. We need your help to secure a matching grant from the MEDC and cross the finish line to completing this great work of art and new public space!
